No honey, I don't want everything to be peachy keen between them brothers, not for a whole season. I want some drama. Remember when Sam said the once he felt like he had a darkness in him? Remember that demon blood? This is the ideal season to bring that to a thrilling and satisfying conclusion. Not the poor excuse fans are giving his so called demon free situation. The church scene in Sacrifice is what I'm referring to. But it doesn't seem like the demon blood issue wont be done and dusted with this season. Anyway I've already put my thoughts out there about that subject. Moving on

Sam wasn't evil when he drank demon blood. He did so for a righteous purpose and that was to defeat Lilith. I prefer to call this Sam bad-ass.

Calling Sam evil as soulless is laughable (sorry not trying to sound mean >.<. It pales in comparison to Azazel's level of evil for example or that version of Sam from Yellow fever.

Sam is evil because he let his brother rot in purgatory,' 'Sam is evil because he's got an rogue angel inside him,' and 'Sam is evil because he's the bigger monster.'

What? Are you looking for a pure Sam with no faults? Because that sounds stale. We haven't had a proper evil Sam since Yellow Fever! What you're talking about is us perceving these actions as evil yet Sam feels he's doing the right thing (like consuming that demon blood. He thought it was the right thing to do). The evil I'm talking about is, another example, the seven deadly sins forcing that poor guy to drink that stuff and laugh as he dies in agony. Thats evil!

Another example of what I mean by evil is one who is able to feel these evil emotions, to have a cruel passion to do something such as Azazel did by burning Mary on the ceiling when John walked in.

Bring it on S11. I can't wait!

I saw that on Twitter and immediately got excited and thought "Evil Sammy?!" Oh my god I frigging hope so! As excited as I am there's that part of my mind reminding me I may be let down.

The Winchesters will need all the help they can get battling The Darkness, which brings us to Season 11's theme: "You can't outrun your past." Dean and Sam "have to make some unexpected and unholy alliances involving folks from their past, which will have personal ramifications," exec producer Jeremy Carver reveals. Will any of said people be fan faves who died? "We're talking about a fight that is going to incorporate the likes of Heaven and Hell and those on Earth. So there's certainly opportunity to see folks that have departed," the EP replies. Perhaps one of them can provide some answers, because "there's a lot of mystery to not only what or who The Darkness is" – maybe it's a she? – "but what The Darkness wants," Carver says. And while Castiel will be working alongside the brothers, he first needs to "find a way out of this spell that Rowena has cast."

BONUS SPOILER!: Praise be! "We're going to see more of a vintage Crowley in terms of scheming, less caring about Dean and Sam," Carver shares.

Now I really don't know which way the story is going and how the Darkness is. This is a new actress and not Emily Swallow so maybe we fave been tricked. Unknowing the real deal excites me when I already thought I knew how things are.

Ausiello: Remember how executive producer Jeremy Carver teased at Comic-Con that some fan favorite characters will return in Season 11 (premiering Oct. 7), and in surprising ways? It sounds like their reappearance could be tied to the new Big Bad. “As responsible as the boys feel for having released The Darkness and how much they personally want to defeat it, they’re not going to be able to do it alone,” the EP tells TVLine. “They’re going to have to confront some figures from their past. They’re going to have to make some unexpected and unholy alliances involving folks from their past, which will have personal ramifications, as well. Because these are some pretty significant figures from their past.”

They are not revealing who those past people are and I kinda like this fact. I want the big spoilers to to stay that way. They gave out Benny, Death and Bobby last season and I can only think that I would have screamed out loud if I had seen them from the episode itself.

Because the Darkness is a pre-Biblical entity that God fought off many, many, many years ago, there’s a good chance the brothers will need God’s help to figure out how to defeat it. There’s also the chance that they’ll have to turn to Lucifer. Basically, at this point, nothing’s off limits.

“I think [the Darkness] certainly opens the door for Lucifer and/or God to pop up,” Jared Padalecki said. ”We’re certainly going back to that and going a bit more biblical and having our take on the writings that didn’t make it into the Bible.”

What makes the Darkness unlike any other threat the Winchesters have faced?

Jeremy Carver: For starters, it becomes fully apparent what the Darkness wants. It’s not just a threat for the boys, but a threat to angels and demons as well. In some ways, it’s a more global threat. I say that and it sounds big and comic book-y almost, but there’s certain incredibly related things about the Darkness that grounds it in a way “Supernatural” does. Once we fully start to understand what the Darkness is all about, everybody is going to realize there is a very relatable story here and a lot of unfinished business for the Darkness side. I don’t think the Darkness thinks that the Darkness is a threat at all. Hopefully, sometimes that is the best Big Bad: They think they are the hero of their own story.

Introduce us to the character Amara (played by Emily Swallow) and how she will be causing trouble for the Winchesters?

Andrew Dabb: I would say the character Amara, the Darkness character, for us she’s a really interesting character mainly because she’s very alien to this world. She has been locked away since the dawn of creation. She has a very interesting point of view with how she approaches everything. There are ways – because the Darkness is such a big thing – to connect a lot of our different characters in terms of the impact on the witches, the impact on Hell and on Heaven and on the guys. We’re hoping she will have a big ripple effect for us.

Now that Rowena (Ruth Connell) has gained this ultimate power, what does she want to do with it?

Dabb: she has more power than she’s ever had, maybe even more than any witch ever had. It’s interesting to see, “OK, now that you’ve got what you want, do you really want it?

I can’t speak specifically to the demon tablet, but it’s highly likely the guys will find themselves asking for Metatron’s help yet again. While discussing how the Darkness predates the Bible — and therefore there’s not much written about it — Jared Padalecki says that Sam and Dean are going to seek any and all help they can get. “We’re going to have to maybe go to Metatron for help or Castiel, and we don’t even know what they know because the Darkness predates them as well,” he says. To SPNLIT, I think it has been speculation at best. Not even a rumor. That killing Death has consequences but that is all we know. I hope this helped.

"Although Jeremy Carver, the show’s executive producer, didn’t confirm whether or not Dean would become Death 2.0, he did reveal to TVLine that the demise of Death would result in consequences “to a certain extent.” Those repercussions will be addressed “in the first batch of episodes” in Season 11, the showrunner revealed, adding that fans “can imagine that it causes some issues.”

This got me thinking. What if the character Amara has nothing to do with the darkness. What if she is actually the new Death that arrived at the same time with the Darkness. It could give us some new mythology why she was chosen and she probably wouldn't be happy from what the Winchesters have done. Don't know if Death's ring was taken by the brothers or if not she could have collected it. If Sam and Dean took it then Amara would have a reason to go after them. Hell, maybe the ring issue could bring back the four rings and it is how they could get to Lucifer and Michael. Yumm! I DON'T want Dean to be Death.

I also wish to be honest that we would get Lovecraft feel next season. Dark, scary, sinister, life or death kinda stuff and a whole lot of other things. Show could go to its roots in full throttle.

When many people think of Lovecraft’s work, they think of ancient gods like Cthulhu, Yog-Sothoth, and so forth. But to stop there is to miss the true theme of Lovecraftian fiction: cosmic horror. In many Lovecraftian and/or cosmic horror stories, ancient forces existed long before humans ever evolved. For one reason or another (depending on the story) they left or were forced away. I’m simplifying here, but the terror lies in the realization that these forces are coming back at some point, and there’s nothing we can do to stop it. At best, we can only delay it. And compared to these forces or gods, we are insects.

I have a theory with the spoilers and BTS stuff we've been seeing. Maybe in the first episode Sam has one of his newly minted visions? Maybe that's why it seems Mitch Pileggi is there as a guest star....Grandpa Campbell comes to Sam in his vision maybe? That would be a really interesting way to start out. I'd be suspicious of visions that had Grandpa Campbell in them; I hope that Sam is terribly conflicted about the visions. I hope they are creepy and possibly threatening seeming. Anyway, maybe its in the vision that Dean is wearing the Hawaiian shirt cause I can't imagine any real world reason that would cause Dean to wear one. These visions of Sam's seem like a great plot development, and I'd love it if Dean were in the visions too along with whomever else. That would make Dean linked to what's going on with Sam, a connection that's been sorely lacking between the brothers in the last few years.

For sweet chucks sake, could somebody, anybody tell me if Dean CHOOSE to kill death or the mark made him do it?

Other spoilers have been pretty clear but these concerning Dean make me intrigued on what will happen. Anyway, it seems all the characters would have stories connected to the myth-arc.

When asked if Dean will have a particular connection to the Darkness, Ackles was very intrigued by the question. He added “and where is the Mark, is [also a big] question. There’s certainly some questions, some big questions that need to be answered as far as how, what, why, when, where and what’s going to happen. Whether or not it becomes some sort of an inner-connection because Dean did wear the Mark and now the Mark is, essentially, the key to whatever this was, there might be a connection. What [that connection is exactly], I don’t know. I haven’t seen it in the first four episodes, but there have been some flashes of things, some premonitions, so to speak. I don’t think….and I hope he doesn’t, because I’m done kind of playing the guilt that Dean feels, [but] I think he’s over the guilt. I think he’s [saying] ‘I made my bed, I’m going to lie in it’.

Killing Death. When Dean made the decision to kill Death instead of Sam, it left Supernatural fans wondering about the consequences of such an act. Ackles warned that with “the repercussions of the Mark, we got the Darkness. What the repercussions of killing Death might play into that."

Another spoiler that came up at Comic Con was that there will be no time jump. Yeah! The action picks right up after they last left off and according to JC, the nature of THE DARKNESS!!!! will reveal itself in the first 20 seconds of episode 11x1. Pretty cool. Lets just jump right in!

So, first was busted and false. Fourth seem to be true but how many episodes is not clear.

Listening to the interview with { Jim Michaels ?} - They are going to have a fill in episode with Lizzie Borden ( axe murder ) which sounds interesting' and a imaginary friend episode To me all sounding great this season - Roll on Season 11

Lizzie Andrew Borden was an American woman who was tried and acquitted for the 1892 axe murders of her father and her stepmother in Fall River, Massachusetts. The case was a cause célèbre throughout the United States.

I am tossing this guideline here because I am trying to keep these s11 episode discussion pages all clear of character dislikes (hate) etc. You can also make a new page about this issue or when it comes across on the main boards go right at it. This was the guideline I put and I hope people honor it.

I for one do NOT want to see Claire again. But I imagine this rumor could be true as they morphed her from whiny teenager wanting to punch Castiel in his "stupid angel face" to warrior princess hunter. She made the kill despite having no training or experience as a hunter while Sam, MOC Dean and newly re-powered Castiel were too inept to do so. Just thinking about this causing me to know I am skipping Claire episodes in season 11. SPNLIT
