#4 Sam’s Shoe Ordeal, “Bad Day At Black Rock” It would be impossible to do a list like this without including something from “Bad Day At Black Rock.” After all, I’ve never seen a better screwball comedy from any comedy show, let alone a paranormal drama. In pouring through the scenes there were several great ones, but…
Let’s have some fun. Remember fun? That’s something we did all the time before a global pandemic made us all afraid, serious, grieving, intense people. I haven’t had fun in a long time. I’ve relaxed. I’ve watched movies. I’ve gotten a lot of long term to-dos done around the house. But nonsense, “no purpose at…
It was the winter of 2011/2012, and I was suffering through law school finals (and I do mean suffering). Desperate for distraction and thoroughly bored with my current tastes in television, I began looking through the folders of my favorite fanfiction authors to see what other shows they were writing about. Recently, I dug through my WIP archives and found several incompleted “lists” from the various seasons of Supernatural. You know, they were done in the vein of the David Letterman “Top Ten Lists” only SPN related. Most of them so far have been rambling garbage, but I found one at least that was a little…

Sam, on the other hand, wasn’t so sure….

Except it’s top 15, because when dealing with 195 episodes of material, there’s no way to widdle it down. In order to keep…
This was a great scene but the one that had me laughing uncontrollably every time I watched it was when Sam and Dean busted into the degenerate Santa’s home and then started singing Silent Night to cover up their error. God, I laughed so hard the first time I saw it I had tears in my eyes!
I think I’m the only person on the planet who actually likes fruitcake 🙂
Mr and Mrs Evil Suburban Gods were great, but it was the serenading of Skanky Santa that had me cackling madly and spilling Stella all over the cat …
I loved this episode for many, many things! The torture scene was oddly hilarious, given the subject matter, but Dean’s adaptation to “fudge” was just straight up funny. The earlier scene with the off-key and mangled “Silent Night” made me, as a singer who knows that Jensen actually can sing, wince hard in the midst of pained laughter.
