Sunday. To fans at a Supernatural convention, and to Supernatural fans around the world who wait for live tweets and coveted pictures, Sunday is better known as J2 Day! It is the day that Jensen and Jared take the stage, sign autographs, pose for photographs and talk with devoted fans. By now you have probably…
Sunday was Jared’s meet and greet, so 20 of us headed into a conference room, drawing numbers to see where we would sit amidst the two rows of 10 chairs. At 12:50 pm, Jared walked in- light blue shirt, jeans, and boots- all smiles and ready to chat. Share on FacebookTweetFollow usSave
HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN? Authorities in Vancouver and the Sheraton Wall Centre are warning all citizens to be on the lookout for this white male, early 30’s, 6′ 1″. He’s considered armed and dangerous. At approx 2:30 PDT, Jensen Ackles, an actor for the TV show “Supernatural,” committed a brutal homicide on stage…
(Warning, contains season nine spoilers) If there was one consistent theme in today’s Supernatural panel and press room at San Diego Comic Con, it was “Free For All.” That was the term coined anyway by Executive Producer Jeremy Carver. It was actually the answer to his first question… Share on FacebookTweetFollow usSave
If you follow us on Twitter and Tumblr, you probably know that sweetondean has been at Dallas con all weekend and has been having a blast! She’s also an amazing photographer, and any con she attends results in some of the most amazing pictures of the pretty on the planet. She has been posting pictures…
(Photo of Misha Collins courtesy of Fangasm) Saturday was quite an event at Salute to Supernatural in Washington DC. Misha Collins had a very special panel, a webcast of his webseries, TSA, exclusively for convention goers! This was on top of his traditional Saturday afternoon panel, not to mention his judging of the costume contest…
Thanks Alice! I have day one and day two posted now.
Great report Tigershire, to think you thought it would be nothing but a mumble…nary a mumble or drooly bit in sight. Sounds like a great first day, lots of fun and I’m glad there’s a new Q&A format…I only ever catch glimpses here and there on the web or via reports but the incessant inanity of some of the questions never ceases to amaze. Good for someone to take a stand on that. I also think it’s fair there’s no recording, I mean, it’s great to view some of the vids but truth is people pay a lot of money to go and then some of us get to watch stuff free…’tis fair.
I’ll be looking forward to your next series of posts.
Thanks for doing this.
Thanks Elle2. I credit my ability to recall and transcribe with the fact that I seemed to have gotten my head around the whole event and my nerves went away. I still wasn’t brave enough to say, get up to the mike to ask a question, but meeting them all no longer held any fear or nerves. It was AWESOME and enabled me to recall events enough to recount them.
Day 2 is up and I’m hoping to do Day 3 tonight but it’s late and I have a bit of paperwork to do. So could be there….but definitely tomorrow for sure.
Okey dokey – I think I have finished. I completed Day 3 – Part 2 at 2 am and posted it.
Folks are more than welcome to leave comments on my blog as well, or ask me questions and I will compile them into a post to answer them.
But really, I’m just please folks want to read what I have to say and I want to say another HUGE Thank You to Alice for posting my link here, I have gotten a ton of traffic to my site because of it.
Thank you so much Tigershire. Loved reading your experiences at the con.
Love the boys and all the wonderful characters on the show. It must be a happy workplace on the Supernatural set. They’re all so cool!
