Hi, everyone. I hope everyone is keeping well and being safe during this uncertain and stressful time. With recently being ‘temporarily’ laid off, I have found myself with more time than I have had in a very long time. Now with our show on an unexpected hiatus, I started to reflect on things that I…
We’re already up to seven? We must be getting much closer to the midseason premiere! Have our lists started matching up with yours yet? Yeah, I didn’t think so! Share on FacebookTweetFollow usSave
Welcome back to “Top Six Favourite Episodes”, this time for season twelve! These are, still to this day, the nearest and dearest to my heart, my comfort episodes, the ones I go to when I need a laugh or a cry or the comfort of an old friend. Before you read my list, make your…
#2 – Alien Slow Dance – “Tall Tales” There are two scenes in the history of Supernatural (and network television actually) that made me laugh so hard I thought I was going to go to the emergency room because I was convinced I ruptured a hernia. Those two scenes are the top two of this list. The first came…

#3 – Eye of The Tiger ““ “Yellow Fever” Let’s face it. If I allowed multiple scenes from the same episode to make the list, “Yellow Fever” would be taking most of the top ten slots. This was a gem filled episode, with one riotous bit after another in rapid succession. I was surprised I didn’t collapse from…
This was funny, but I don’t think it would have ranked in my top 10 of Supernatural moments … although Jensen’s gag reflex was priceless!!
It definitely would be in mine however. I just busted a gut with this one.
I just have to say this however (cause I’m just weird when it comes to things like this) in other threads folks have called that thing The Chief is holding a whip. It’s not, it’s a cat-o-nine tails, but don’t ask me why I know that.
Oh, yes … another goodie! I wonder how the old magician guy came to be so familiar with the local S n’ M joints … 😆
A cat-o-nine tails IS a kind of whip, chaps. One handle, nine lashes (sometimes knotted for extra ouch). Very popular in the old days of the British navy for keeping the plebs in order (and before everyone gets the wrong idea about me, my partner is a huge Napoleonic sea war spod so that’s how I know!-)
Looking forward to tomorrows offering!
Yes, Suze, you are right, it is a kind of whip. But most folks think of a single lash when they see that word.
But I have an over-active accuracy gland and I can’t help myself.
Alice, I have actually see it in other treads as just a whip – so you are not alone, but hey, why use the same old same old when the specific term just adds hilarity of the situation! GRIN
Well, it definitely beats arguing about which is the most pointless out of half-baked teeny tripe Gossip Grrrls and 90thingy! 😆
