Well, my trusty Tupperware container was calling on me, so I pulled four more titles and put my thoughts on each. What are your thoughts on the following episodes? Is it a scene, a moment, a line or song? And why? It is your favourite or is it the emotional impact it has on you? Maybe it simply makes you laugh or hide under the covers.
"Born Under A Bad Sign"
This is another episode high on my list of favourites. There were so many great moments in this: Dean checking to make sure that the blood on Sam's shirt wasn't his; Sam telling Dean to kill him as he had promised but Dean unable to do so; Bobby getting the upper hand on the possessed Sam by putting the holy water in the beer. But the moment that stands out for me was when possessed Sam tells Jo how her father really died as he's tying her to the pole. It still creeps me out to hear Sam singing the words, "My daddy shot your daddy in the head."
Jared really did a fantastic job playing the good and evil Sams.
This episode really got to me the first time I saw it. I loved all the Sam and Dean moments in this one. The confrontation in the motel room and how devastated Sam looked when Dean told him that the angels/Castiel and God were against what he was doing. And when Sam had Dean pull the car over and tries to explain what he's going through.
But the scene that hit me the most was how scared Sam looked when Dean first entered the warehouse. He reminded me of a child being caught doing something bad. Kim Manners really knew how to bring out the emotions in these actors; I so miss him. Sam broke my heart in this episode. You can see how much he is struggling with who and what he is and trying to justify his actions. Wanting to believe he is doing good by his powers.
"Mannequin 3: The Reckoning"
For this one, it was the opening scene where Dean is hovering over an unconscious Sam, with Dean near to tears, begging Sam to wake up. It was such a heart-wrenching scene.
"Two Minutes To Midnight "
With this, as much as I loved the scene between Dean and Death at the pizzaria, the introduction to Death will always stand out the most, with the slow motion and the haunting music of "O, Death" playing in the background. It gave me shivers.
So what are your favorite scenes from these episodes?
