Welcome back to the Memorable Moments series! For 12.20 "Twigs and Twine and Tasha Banes", I once again put together a list of what I felt were the best and most memorable moments from the episode. The list varies from episode to episode depending on what has transpired. I hope you enjoy it and share what your picks would be!
Best Broment
After leaving Max to give Alicia a Hunter's Burial, they discuss whether leaving Max alone was a good idea.
Sam: You did the right thing, you saved him.
Dean: Yeah he seemed super saved. You know I was watching them, a loving family. Kind we should have had and now, just like that, it's gone.
Sam: Dean, you couldn't let Max make some deal for his soul.
Dean: Sam we do terrible things all the time to save each other. That's what you do for family. Who am I to stop him.
Sam: Well he's strong, he'll be alright.
Dean: Yeah I'm not so sure.
Best Sam Moment
Sam bonding with Alicia. "What about you with magic?"
Alicia: Nah, I don't have it. It's just kind of a lot of noise to me. Magic is definitely their thing you know.
Sam: Yeah when I was growing up Dean and my dad had the same thing with hunting, that bond.
Alicia: What about with Mary.
Sam: She gets into a case and just sort of vanishes.
Alicia: Yeah Mary's a great hunter...She doesn't seem like much of a hugger.
Sam: Yeah.
Later Sam racing to Alicia's side telling her to hang on...
... and is shocked by her death.
Best Dean Moment
Dean fighting the spell that held him to the chair....
...and finally able to break through it, then grabbing the gun to....
shoot and kill the witch.
I also have to go with Dean showing off the Impala (Baby) to Max. Such a proud Daddy.
Brothers in Unison

both have their hands/fingers at their mouths.
Best Mary Moment
Battling it out with Ketch.....
Nearly breaking his arm and .....

Most Nostalgic/Flashback Moments
Sam using the line 'Their mom's on a hunting trip and hasn't been home in a week'
Dean reacting to the words as they were ones he used on Sam 12 years ago.
Much like the words Dean used on Sam 'Dad went on a hunting trip... and he hasn't been home in a few days.'
Sam realises that their dad might be in danger.
Also Dean phoning his mom wanting to her to call as things are going off the rails
much like 12 years ago when dean tried to get hold of dad about needing him to call.
Dad? I know I've left you messages before. I don't even know if you get 'em... But, I'm with Sam. And we're in Lawrence, and there's something in our old house. I don't know if it's the thing that killed mom or not. But, I don't know what to do... So whatever you're doing, if you could get here... Please. I need your help Dad.
Most Wind Blown Hair Moments
It was obviously very windy at the meeting place. Now if this was a contest....
I would have to place Max in last place due to the lack of hair.
In third place I have to give it to Dean, due to the shortness of his hair, but it still got pretty um 'spikey' .
In second place I give it to Alicia....
....although it was pretty close to Sam... but I feel Sam won this.
Cutest Moment
Sam volunteers to pick up the food at the Vegan Restaurant....
Sam puts his wine in front of Dean, says 'Dean drink' and pats him on the knee.
Dean then pours Sam's wine in his glass...
and cheers to Alicia and Max.
Most Moving/Powerful Moment
Max finding out his mother is dead. ...
... and being devastated.
Then later only to find out .....
.....Alicia is also dead...
...and once again is devastated. So heartbreaking that Max lost both his mother and sister, basically his entire family.
Grossest Moment
While opening a bottle of wine. ......
....Tasha breaks her finger .....
.... and snaps it back in place.
Creepiest Moment
Displaying an old beat up doll.
Most Scenic Scene
The road side with the mountains and woods in the background.
Best Camera Shot
The hill side view of the Mountain Slumber Boarding House. I just love this house. I could very happily live there.
