12 Days of “Supernatural” Christmas: Day Nine
Nine beers for drinking…
Eight musty motel rooms…
Seven snarky angels…
Four calling phones…
Three hot guys…
Two muscle cars…
And a scarecrow near an apple tree.

When Steve Carlson dropped his latest album, Christmas Wish, I didn’t want to review it. I just wanted to snuggle on my couch in front of the faux fireplace and let the new tunes keep me warm. Even the brief snippet I wrote for The Riff felt like too much work. I did it anyway…
The last illustrated song I offered you was Les Misérables’ “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables.” I have to confess that my mind can hardly let go of the beautiful music of that marvellous stage show! So, this time it came up with a completely silly version of Les Mis’ “Master of the House.” In the…
This is what happens to us during Hellatus, the staff gets slaphappy in our downtime. My apologies to those that are going to get in trouble at work on this Monday for laughing too hard, but as editor I couldn’t resist sharing this message. —————————- Dear Tim The Enchanter: Someone’s been fiddling around with…

Love ,Jas
I don’t what it is, because I’m not a drinker, but I find pictures of guys holding bottles tremendously alluring, not necessarily drinking from, just holding them. I’m not too pushed on glasses, (especially pint glasses, urgh) just bottles. Ok, moving swiftly onwards….
And of course, black and white. Automatic win!
A quick reminder there please, for those with a better memory than me. The guy in picture 4 (the one who looks like he’s drinking from R2D2), episode please??
That would be the guy from Monster Movie who claimed he saw Count Dracula.
Love the song!!
Guys drinking beer is sexy! Of course, I love beer, so…
Tim, that is Ed Brewer, as Rose said, the guy who saw Dracula and who loved to play the Casio in his underwear in Monster Movie. That giant beer stein was actually the impetus for this day. That and Cass drinking beer because come on, when does he do that? It’s why he got to stay in color. He’s special.
