No, Harry, please come back! Don’t let it end this way. What happened to “love at first geek?” I know, It’s complicated. When “#THINMAN” came to a conclusion, I looked at my family – all of us Ghostfacers fans by the way – and said “Well, that’s going to throw the fandom into a…
Well, that was creepy. It’s been a while since a cold open has freaked me out as much as “#THINMAN” managed to. It was giving me flashbacks to the season one episode “Bloody Mary” which had me avoiding mirrors for longer than I’d like to admit. It almost doesn’t even matter that Thinman didn’t turn…
The final ratings for ‘#THINMAN’ are in
Warning: If you have not seen tonight’s episode, “Thinman,” then beware spoilers ahead! Summary: This episode was quite anvilicious, I must admit. But much was saved by the appearance of my favorite Supernatural guest character/stars – ED AND HARRY!!! The Ghostfacers!!! (And they had their theme song in here too….that was comforting even if the…
Tonight’s episode # Thinman brings back the Ghostfacers. It is their first appearance since It’s a Terrible Life in season four.
Time again for another installment of Nate Winchester’s “Supernatural” episode remix. Enjoy the “abridged” version, so to speak, of “Captives.”

He gives is a 4.5 out of 5.0….
Everyone in “Captives” was held hostage at some point. This took physical form—restraints, holding cells, and locked doors. People were handcuffed or tied. Some were chained. Others were bound to the physical plane while being a spirit. In truth, however, everyone was held captive by the same thing in the end: grief. Each character seemed…
For the record, I really liked “Captives”. It was engaging. It had a lot of Sam, Dean and Castiel. It brought Kevin back to us. Mostly, though, it felt hopeful again. In my review of the season so far (Is Season 9 Divine?), I observed that many episodes in the first half of the season…
I am happy to say Robert Berens’ “Captives” has settled some of my doubts about Supernatural’s story line this season. The episode wasn’t perfect, but it was very good. Berens is an excellent addition to the writers’ room, though I do wish someone on that staff loved writing Sam the way Berens loves to write…
