After all, whether I like it or not, this was actually one of Brad Buckner and Eugenie Ross-Leming’s better scripts. “O’Brother Where Art Thou?” was a big improvement over last year’s “The Things We Left Behind.” There, I said it. Still, I’m not sure what my true feelings are….

This episode, written by Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner, begins with a grown up Amara confronting a courtyard preacher. She turns water to blood. She brings lightning to strike the followers.
What we know about the mid-season finale for Supernatural.
There was a lot that worked well about this episode and then there was a lot that didn’t work as well. It was a rich fantasy with a creative spin on a very old idea – and overall, this part was presented in a very enjoyable way.
