Best MacGyver Moment

Sam making and using his own stun gun.

Best Guest Actor Scene(s)

The Reaper Billie played by Lisa Berry. I loved her powerful performance from her beautiful but eerie version of "O' Death" to her informing Sam that there will be no more resurrections nor a place in Heaven for him and Dean.

Best Crowley Line(s)

As usual Crowley had some great one lines.

'Hello my son'

'After I finish my tea'

'I'm sorry agent pathetic rock star'

'I was getting bored.'

Best VFX scene

I chose two scenes that I thought were very well done.

The blocks flying above Amara and then being whipped into the wall...

to form the words 'Feed Me',

and Sam's visions of being tortured back in the PIT.

Best Sam Moment

Sam praying, not for himself but for Dean and for hope. "And if I have to die, I made my peace with that. But please Dean deserves better. Dean deserves a life."

Best Dean Moment

Dean being handed baby Amara and reassuring her "Hey beautiful." Such a paternal moment.

Best Musical Cue

"Oh Death" being sung as the Reaper Billie takes the soul of the newest victim

Scariest Moment

Even though I knew something was going to happen when Sam reached down for the pudding, it still made me jump as he became face to face with his captive.

"Liar! You and me, we're dead. We're just taking our sweet time about it, so if you were smart you'd put a bullet in me and then one in you."

Grossest Moment

Sam's flashback of the PIT. Anything with eyes... EEEWWWWWW!

Best Bad Ass Moment

Cas getting all dog and killing Efram and Jonah.

Saddest Moment

Cas realising that Hannah is playing him.

Creepiest Moment

Crowley offering up the 'Mini Van Family' to Amara. "Want some candy little girl?"

And Amara accepting the offer with just a creepy smile.

Okay, I imagine I am in the minority of one here but I thought the scene with the FEED ME blocks was straight out of a campy horror flick or parody. How about the plant in "little shop of horrors": FEED ME SEYMOUR! I know many joined NIghtsky in her horror of the baby scenes. Just thought I would throw it out there.
I agree, Sam in the chapel was a great scene. In fact the whole Sam, in the hospital set, storyline, and guest stars was great!

spnlit, I actually liked the blocks scene and found it effectively creepy, but your LSOH comparison cracked me up. It would be funny if Amara was to grow as quickly and become as gigantic as the plant.

Karen, once again I loved your memorable moments and agreed with each and every pick. But I did not realize that the hell visions included weird eyeball torture because the scene flashed by so quickly. Like you, I am grossed out by eye things more than almost anything else, so now I really feel bad for Sam and even for Jared, because it looks like they really did contort the skin around his eyes. EEEEWWWW indeed!

I'm so happy you're enjoying these. I don't know how the CGI works whether they actually have to do anything to his eyes, if they do I also feel bad for him.

Great "great moments" Karen! I agree, that thing with the hooks pulling out the skin away from Sam's eyes..... ick and double ick. I know that they are doing that in a way that doesn't hurt him at all, but *shudders* it looks so awful. I think a tie for the either the scariest or grossest moment must be when they CGI'd the baby's face and she aged. That seriously creeped me out. It was so subtle and that I couldn't even tell what was happening to her in that moment, just that he little baby face was changing and morphing in this disturbing way.

Agreed that Sam got the best part of his episode all around though, his prayer, his conversation with Billie (I hope we see her again) his vision and his smarts.....yeah ! Sammy for the win! He really deserved that definitive win didn't he? Yeah.

These were good choices. Did anyone else find it weird that Sam was being tortured with his jeans (and belt) still on? I mean, he's in hell, why is he wearing clothes? And why is it that the women get tortured naked, (Meg and I think Ruby, right?) but the guys always have their clothes on? Not that I want to finally have an actual naked Sam scene and he's being tortured horribly, I just found it incongruous.

I have to laugh because I thought the same thing. Why are the women tortured naked but not the men. I guess being shirtless the most the J's are willing to do. Which I have no problem with.

Haven't you heard Jared say "I never wear jeans without a belt." I'll bet Sam does too! He'd never get tortured in jeans if there was no belt.

I think you chose spot on scenes now so nothing to add here. I actually don't like torture scenes and I have a slight fear of needles and hemophobia (yes, I do know I watch Supernatural) and even though it has helped a bit to watch the show with them nothing could prepare me for those visions... Can't wait for next weeks article!

Most Sobs, Hannah dying and Castiel loosing his only friend from the angels and Jenna dying.

Most grateful moment because it is happy to hear Sam and Dean get a thank you for their work once in a while.

I agree about your choice for most sobs as to Hannah dying and Castiel's loss. I loved the male actor's version of Hannah because I could so see female Hannah in the portrayal. I had high hopes that Hannah would lead the angels and help Castiel choose the right path on occasion. She was so brave and insightful when she chose to return to heaven and then........ bam! The darkness does have far reaching effects. She panicked at the alarms and now she is dead.
