You gave us your nominations, and now it's time to vote! The annual Winchester Family Business season end fan vote is now open.  You can pick and choose from 17 categories all about Supernatural Season 11, the good, bad and indifferent.

As you can tell, some categories didn't have enough nominations to fill all the slots, so I had to pick some of my own.  Also, one category, Best Guest Star, was broken into two categories since it was too broad.  So now you have 17 categories instead of 16 to vote on!

Just select your favorite option from each category and be sure to hit that "Vote" button at the bottom of each box or it doesn't count.  After voting, feel free to refresh the page and vote again!  I'm sure you're going to want to vote for different options in some categories (Best Quote comes to mind).  Vote as often as you want.  Voting will close on July 15th at 11:59 EDT.  Results will be compiled and be revealed within a few days after the vote closes.

Thanks to all who sent nominations.  Happy voting!

Baby.  The third main cast member - The Metallicar - The solid rock that has always been there for the Winchesters (except for that silly season seven when she was sidelined).  The strong and rugged object that takes her lumps but always comes out on top, all while protecting her boys from all sorts of horrible things.  She maybe Dean’s pride and joy, but she looks after Sam as well.  So yeah, why did it take 11 seasons to get her a profile episode?   Ah well, better late than never.

The concept itself is daring.  Shoot an entire episode inside the Impala.  Make the scenes semi-real time and create a monster story that can actually be told and enjoyed from Baby’s POV.  While the script is brilliant, the true achievement of this episode is what went into the direction.  It took a ton of creativity and planning to set this one up and the end result was nothing short of perfection.  It’s a no-brainer as to which episode this season would get the full length recap from me for this season.  “Baby” all the way.  It is one of my favorite episodes of all time for any TV show, not just “Supernatural.”

For those who may not be familiar with the full length recap concept, this is basically me digging into the episode with exhaustive detail and giving my wandering thoughts for every little part of it.  This gets pretty long.  I used to do these all the time, but they ended up taking way too much time not just for me but anyone reading them!  Now I do one or two a season for fun.  These are the type of recaps that once made Television Without Pity a great site, and they’re also a concept that mostly went out with that site too.  A lot of these recaps can get snarky but my love for this episode holds no bounds.  Any nitpicking in this recap will be reflected at the season itself and not this brilliant episode.
As Supernatural fans already know, Supernatural is a complex drama, built over years upon a foundation of mythology and recurring themes. Its dialog is intricate, often layered with thematic threads, double meanings and foreshadowing.  The “Threads” review series closely examines these subtlties, to both more thoroughly appreciate the detail of the plots and to attempt to predict the direction the story may be going. Now that the brother's 11th year of hunting is over and we know the outcome of this season's many plot lines, we can assess how well each climax was supported or foreshadowed, and our skill at unlocking season 11's mysteries.

The following are the season 11 threads we have been tracking. In each case, I recapped how and where the theme appeared in the season. I then compared our specualtions and the evolution of our theories to the eventual outcome of that plotline, and assessed the logic and continuity of the writers’, and the characters’, actions. Join me for a retrospective look at the themes, the Threads, of Supernatural’s season 11.
Another “Supernatural” season has come and gone and you know what that means.  It's time for our annual awards!  Season Eleven especially is offering some very interesting choices.  Categories that have been thin in the past have plenty of potential this year!

Ever since season seven a certain number of award categories have been set aside by me and offered to you, the SPN fans.  It gives you all that chance to be heard - the good, bad, and the indifferent – because I care.  Before I can come up with a final vote though, I need nominations!  I mean after all, do you really want me picking options?  (Muhahaha...)

As in prior years, I have pre-selected 16 award categories where you all will eventually select the winner.  Below are those categories.  Just list your nominations for each category in the comments through 11:59 pm ET on Wednesday June 22nd.  The most popular nominations in each category will be chosen and used for the final fan vote (five to seven per category).  If we don’t get enough nominations in a category, then the rest become admin’s choice!

Fan vote results will be announced first as part of our "Supernatural Season Eleven Awards" series.  As with prior years, there will be several Editor's Choice awards this year too.  I have so much to say!
Here are the categories.  Remember, only nominations from season eleven episodes will be accepted.

It’s that time of year again.  The “Supernatural” season finale has ended, the dust has settled, and we are on the early side of a long ass hellatus with another set of 23 episodes in the can.  What do you do?  Rank ‘em in five minutes of course!

One things for certain on a Wednesday night, especially such a big episode like the season finale.  There are always a set of actors online having a blast during a live tweet on the episode, whether it be on East Coast or West Coast.  Heck, Jared even joined in for the Central time zone!  Thanks to Storify, we are able to share all those in one grouping!

Below are the tweets from last night's broadcast from Jared Padalecki, Rob Benedict, Emily Swallow, Ruthie Connell, Lisa Berry, Samantha Smith, Jim Michaels, and Brianna Buckmaster.  For those that haven't seen the episode, SPOILER ALERT!

I am called Mistress Magda.

Madame Nightsky, I saw you gave out predictions of your own. Don't deny it.
Welcome to "Memorable Moments". Each week I will visually recap what I felt were the best and most memorable moments from that episode. The list may vary from week to week, depending on what has transpired in that particular episode.
