Because Kim Manners directed so many great episodes, naturally there are a ton of amazing moments to be found within them. I wanted to make a Top Ten list of moments in Kim Manners episodes, but I had such a hard time cutting it down to ten, I just decided instead to expand it to…
I was working on the top ten (or maybe twelve who knows) baddies list, and while pouring through the long list of possible candidates during a break at work, my warped mind I wrote down a hot Winchester moment instead. Then I ended up writing down ten of them. Next thing I know I’m ranking and coming…
Somewhere back in season three, I actually did a “Best” and “Worst” list for Supernatural episodes. I’ll tell ya, it was way easier in season three! In trying to revisit that list now with more the double the number of episodes, I’m still trying to pull together a ten best (even 15 is tough), but…
Are you still blown away by the season 9 premiere? Cas is not an angel, Sam is an angel, Ezekiel is a hidden angel, Hael is a mad angel, and there are plenty of dangerous, scary, treacherous angels walking the earth. Dean is tortured by the choice he had to make…again…and Death got cheated…again! So…
As I continue my look back at this vast catalog of episodes that “Supernatural” has graced us, I found there were a certain set of episodes that were not the “epics” of the series, but still fun to watch anyway. You know, those quiet little under the radar episodes that get lost in the 300+…
As many of you know, I am expecting my first baby in October. (In fact, Alice has started a betting pool on when I’ll deliver, so check out the forums and weigh in. There’s even a prize involved!) And since I have my priorities straight, this kid is going to need some “Supernatural” baby gear…
This was funny, but I don’t think it would have ranked in my top 10 of Supernatural moments … although Jensen’s gag reflex was priceless!!
It definitely would be in mine however. I just busted a gut with this one.
I just have to say this however (cause I’m just weird when it comes to things like this) in other threads folks have called that thing The Chief is holding a whip. It’s not, it’s a cat-o-nine tails, but don’t ask me why I know that.
Oh, yes … another goodie! I wonder how the old magician guy came to be so familiar with the local S n’ M joints … 😆
A cat-o-nine tails IS a kind of whip, chaps. One handle, nine lashes (sometimes knotted for extra ouch). Very popular in the old days of the British navy for keeping the plebs in order (and before everyone gets the wrong idea about me, my partner is a huge Napoleonic sea war spod so that’s how I know!-)
Looking forward to tomorrows offering!
Yes, Suze, you are right, it is a kind of whip. But most folks think of a single lash when they see that word.
But I have an over-active accuracy gland and I can’t help myself.
Alice, I have actually see it in other treads as just a whip – so you are not alone, but hey, why use the same old same old when the specific term just adds hilarity of the situation! GRIN
Well, it definitely beats arguing about which is the most pointless out of half-baked teeny tripe Gossip Grrrls and 90thingy! 😆
