Fan Video of the Week: Supernatural Reflections “Final Countdown”
“Stories you read when you’re the right age never quite leave you. You may forget who wrote them or what the story was called. Sometimes you’ll forget precisely what happened, but if a story touches you it will stay with you, haunting the places in your mind that you rarely ever visit.” ― Neil Gaiman, M Is for Magic
No, this is not an article or a video about that song. It is time for the final countdown people. We are on last hiatus before we head to the finish line with the final spurt. Everything is open still on how the finale will end, where the story will take us. Luckily, we know there will be a season 12 of Supernatural. But until that, I have this small treat for you.
I just saw this video “Supernatural || 7 Year” by Emily D’Amato on twitter and it is truly worth being shown. The music really fits both Sam and Dean and their lives. It also has scenes from the past and present of their journey. Of course, I also have the real treat of a poster from FIGHT THE FAIRIES! again (but in my point of view, every one of her art works is a treat).
Enjoy!

Supernatural || 7 Years made by: Emily D’Amato
7 Years by Lukas Graham
Once I was seven years old, my mama told me,
“Go make yourself some friends or you’ll be lonely.”
Once I was seven years old
It was a big big world, but we thought we were bigger
Pushing each other to the limits, we were learning quicker
By eleven smoking herb and drinking burning liquor
Never rich so we were out to make that steady figure
Once I was eleven years old, my daddy told me,
“Go get yourself a wife or you’ll be lonely.”
Once I was eleven years old
I always had that dream, like my daddy before me
So I started writing songs, I started writing stories
Something about that glory just always seemed to bore me
‘Cause only those I really love will ever really know me
Once I was twenty years old, my story got told
Before the morning sun, when life was lonely
Once I was twenty years old
(Lukas Graham!)
I only see my goals, I don’t believe in failure
‘Cause I know the smallest voices, they can make it major
I got my boys with me, at least those in favor
And if we don’t meet before I leave, I hope I’ll see you later
Once I was twenty years old, my story got told
I was writing about everything I saw before me
Once I was twenty years old
Soon we’ll be thirty years old, our songs have been sold
We’ve traveled around the world and we’re still roaming
Soon we’ll be thirty years old
I’m still learning about life
My woman brought children for me
So I can sing them all my songs
And I can tell them stories
Most of my boys are with me
Some are still out seeking glory
And some I had to leave behind
My brother, I’m still sorry
Soon I’ll be sixty years old, my daddy got sixty-one
Remember life, and then your life becomes a better one
I made a man so happy when I wrote a letter once
I hope my children come and visit once or twice a month
Soon I’ll be sixty years old, will I think the world is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me?
Soon I’ll be sixty years old
Soon I’ll be sixty years old, will I think the world is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me?
Soon I’ll be sixty years old
Once I was seven years old, my mama told me,
“Go make yourself some friends or you’ll be lonely.”
Once I was seven years old
Once I was seven years old
Lukas Graham is a Danish ghetto-pop band consisting of Lukas Graham Forchhammer (born September 18, 1988) (vocals), Mark “Lovestick” Falgren (born November 28, 1988) (drums), Magnus Larsson (bass) and Kasper Daugaard (born June 14, 1989) (keyboard). That success translated to the rest of Europe and caught the attention of Warner Bros. Records who co-signed them in 2013. The band’s music was first introduced worldwide with the release of their two singles “Mama Said” and “7 Years”, the latter of which topped various international charts. Their second album was released internationally on April 1.
Best Quotes:
Dean: Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole.
Dean:My name is Dean Winchester. I ‘m an Aquarius. I enjoy sunsets, long walks on the beach and frisky women. And I did not kill anyone.
Dean: Calm down?? I am wearing sunglasses at night! You know who does that? No-talent douchebags! I hate this game! I hate that we’re in a procedural cop show, and you want to know why? Because I hate procedural cop shows! There’s like three hundred of them on television, they’re all the freakin’ same.
Sam: (whose body is being used by a teenage boy): I would love to have the sex with you.
Sam: I lost my shoe.
Sam: What do you wanna do, poke her with a stick? Dude! You’re not gonna poke her with a stick!
Sam and Dean (in unison): Yeah right. Nice guess. It wasn’t guess. Right, you’re a mind reader. Cut it out Sam. Sam! You think you’re being funny but you’re being really, really childish. Sam Winchester wears make-up. Sam Winchester cries his way through sex. Sam Winchesters keeps a ruler by the bed and every morning when he wakes up … OK, enough!
Castiel: This isn’t funny, Dean. The voice says I’m almost out of minutes!
Castiel: I don’t understand that reference.
Castiel: Ass-butt!!!
Bobby: Idjits!
Bobby Singer: Family don’t end with blood, boy.
Bobby: You stupid, stupid son of a bitch. Well,boo-hoo!I am so sorry your feelings are hurt, princess! Are you under the impression that family’s supposed to make you feel good, make you an apple pie, maybe? They’re supposed to make you miserable! That’s why they’re family!
Bobby Singer: Well, as fate would have it, I adopted two boys and they grew up great. They grew up heroes. So you can go to hell!
Crowley: Yes, I know. Completely worth your soul. I’m a hell of a guy.
Crowley: You betrayed me! No one in the history of torture’s been tortured with torture like the torture you’ll be tortured with!
Crowley: You’re my Marnie, Moose. A-and Hannah, she just- she *needs* to be loved. She deserves it. Don’t we all? You, me? We deserve to be loved.
