Season Two
While waiting for season seven to begin (why is it not here yet???), let’s fondly look back at the genius that is season two.
“No Exit” isn’t one of my favorites. I’m putting that out there right now. This episode was so…off. I think it’s because season two was on such a roll. The previous episode revisited Sam’s arc, and it’s not pretty. I mean, he is, but the situation isn’t. Couple that with the exciting premiere, then John…
Editor’s Note: It is with great sadness that we learned this week of the passing of Charles Beeson. Charles directed 14 Supernatural episodes, beginning with “Playthings” and ending 13 years later with season 15’s, “The Gamblers”. Charles made an unmistakable imprint on Supernatural, as noted in Alice’s review below. Her commentary was written earlier in April,…
“Croatoan” –Robin’s Rambles by Robin Vogel Another pivotal episode, “Croatoan” has one of the most difficult-to-watch brotherly scenes we had ever seen, at least up until that point in the series, or, ever, for some viewers. It also ties in heavily with the mytharc, as those who have followed along to “The End” are…
“All Hell Breaks Loose Part 1” –Robin’s Rambles by Robin Vogel Kripke wraps up the “special kids” storyline in this and the next episode, for some, in an anticlimactic way. Kripke himself said he was getting tired of it, so instead of an army of special kids, he wanted the group pared down to one,…
Sometimes, the pictures just speak for themselves. I’m not sure if you’re gonna get a lot of motivation this week, but you’re certain to laugh your ass off. Share on Facebook Tweet Follow us Save
Homicidal clowns, octopus/vampire hybrids, vindicitive unicorns, sharks in a ball pit, and Sam and Dean each finding their inner child, even if Sam’s resulted a very f’ed up way of confronting a lifelong fear. It all makes for plenty of prime material for motivational posters, don’t you think? Share on Facebook Tweet Follow…
Wonderful! Season 2 does have a lot of iconic moments in it, and you captured them all wonderfully.
Gotta love a shout out to the Trickster!
Season two rocked!!!!!!! 😀
Intro to a whole bunch people. Most of whom are no longer with us. Some we miss (RIP Ellen, Jo, Andy). Some we cheered when they died (Gordon, Ava, Jake) Intro to the Croatoan sickness, the Trickster, djinns and the list goes on and on.
But Julie, we now know that John made the ‘second’ deal. 🙂
Season two, good times. 😆 😆
Love love the second season. Hard to believe all those we loved are now dead.
Loved sweet Andy. Adored the Trickster, Jo and Ellen. (well, I liked Jo!) Don’t forget poor Madison.
Loved to see Gordon, Ava and Jake bite the dust.
My favourite seasons are 1, 2 & 3.
Thanks Julie.
Thanks Julie for another wonderful slide show. Ah, Season 2 which introduced us to the irrepressible trickster as well as the nefarious Gordon. From watching the hilarity of Dean as a PA to the incredible heartbreak of Sam killing Madison. What a season. 🙂 the actors really stepped up their game and we got to see a lot of Bobby Singer, who was a terrific addition to the show. They certainly packed a lot into this season.
As this will be my final article on the site I would just like to express, to everyone who posted such nice comments here, my heartfelt thanks
