This reminds me, during ComicCon 2012, someone asked the boys what their names woud be if they became superheroes. Engund said that Jensen would probably be Captain Chisel-Chested, based on crew comments on set. WHen I heard that, I blurted, "No! Captain Perky Nipples!" THanks much!

Can't figure out how to copy and paste pix on my iPad into this but even though I've had wow moments with both Sam and Dean (they are pretty easy on the eyes without a doubt) my biggest wow moment was in On the Head of Pin when Uriel is about to kill Cas and Cas looks up and the light reveals those georgous blue eyes. That was it ... will never get more than a split second of shirtless Cas though most likely since he never even takes the overcoat off.

Well, if we are still objectifying, I think Jensen should get an award for on screen kissing (which I would like to see more of, thank you very much). Every time I see one I'm like "Boy, he really commits to it!". Poor actresses, having to do all those takes. Kissing him over, and over, and over....what was I saying again. Oh, by the way, someone on the other thread asked if Jensen really looked better in person than his photos. I am lucky enough to know the answer is YES!. It took me almost a year;but I saved & went to Dallas con Sept last year.
I could hardly believe my eyes. He just glows. Keep in your mind the best picture you have ever seen of him. Got it? OK---it doesn't do him justice. None of them do.
I have told the story before of my picture experience. I got to the line. It was my turn. The woman told me to go ahead.It felt like someone had sucked all the air out of the room. I said to her "Wait, I have to breathe!". To which Jensen responses "No you DON"T!" and proceeds to "Place" me at his side for the picture. Standing next to this perfect man. A living work of art.

In person, he truely is BREATH TAKING! (He took mine, anyway).

You'll survive...he's a sweetie...but Penny is right, so be prepared. He is so much better looking than you expect him to be and he does indeed, glow. He simple radiates this inner light. But he also radiates calm...which is help. So just try to relax and enjoy it and try to remember it because your brain with get Jensenated and turn to mush and the experience is so quick...so try really hard to concentrate on remembering! And make sure you look in his eyes, because he will look right back into yours.

Ooops sorry! There's no preparing for it actually.

The first time I saw him I said a string of expletives under my breath because he was right there, looking unbelievable and glowing! And then I was all nervous and so he leaned in real close to hear me and stared in my eyes and it was like the light around me dimmed...it's like he's on high beam! And he looks at you like there's no one else in the room! He totally engages with you, when you walk over, during the photo and when you walk away...so remember to say hello and thank you! I think he really appreciates that. But he is very calm, very sweet and a lot of fun...so that really, honestly, does help.

When it's J2 it's like a party in the photo room... so much laughter!

The really funny thing was, that first time I got my photo with Jensen, I couldn't stop touching him! As I spoke to him I grabbed on to his bicep, I didn't even realise...he actually looked down at my hands wrapped around his bicep and looked up and raised an eyebrow at me and sort of gave me this cheeky smirk! I nearly died! I let go and said "oh..err sorry" and he chuckled. And then when I left, I walked behind him and as I thanked him, I actually ran my hand down his back!!!! I was like, STOP TOUCHING HIM AMY, STOP TOUCHING HIM! But I haven't stopped....beca use I basically hang on to him from the moment I get close enough, to the moment I have to let go!

OMG, I bought a picture op with the J's for Toronto 2013. I was already nervous meeting all that pretty, and now I'm absolutely petrified!

I have a tendency to get very, very, very intimidated when I meet beautiful people! I might faint! I'll try and remember to breathe and say hello and thank you. I get the feeling I'm going to look like a deer caught in the headlights!

YAY! I don't know when I'll ever be able to meet them, but I think I will be nervous, too. This inner glowing of Jensen -- do you think it has to do with inner decency or confidence? THey described Wentworth Miller in the same way you do, and he's a sweetie acc. to all accouts.

Yes, Jared is really, very beautiful. Gorgeous. Really gorgeous. And really smiley and fun. The first time I saw him, he introduced the Brian Buckley Band. He was just suddenly there on stage and I GASPED! I'd always thought he was pretty but I was completely staggered by how glorious he is! And to be honest, in the couple of years I've been doing the cons, he's got better looking. He's just big and tall and gorgeous and super nice. Also, when he hugs you he wraps all the way around you! Those long arms of his!

Question for the hug administrator: sweetondean - I am so looking forward to VanCon and I have booked up a Winchester double photo. Eee!

Question is how do I have a squishy double hug and stare into both their eyes?? Nope I will have to be facing Jared, maybe if Jensen stared into Jared's eyes too? ... Ah well, so much stuff has gone wrong this week it is great to focus on a problem like this

I keep wondering about ideas for scenes that could be posed etc. but keep coming back to just wanting to get squished between them, lol ... So anyway, any advice?

GO. THE. SQUISH. I always face Jensen, because...well you know why. The fun poses are fun, but the squish....when are you ever going to get the opportunity to get mashed between them. They know the fan language, so if you say you would like a squishy hug, they'll know what you mean. At Vancon last year, they were so playful they were squishing like crazy. I asked for a squish hug and they both just grabbed me and mashed me! I went "Ooof" and let out some kind of "oh my gosh" as the air completely left my body, then my back goes CRACK! They were hugging me so hard Jared's arm was completely flexed and his veins popping in his forearm. My cheek was pressed right into Jensen's neck and my whole body is squashed against his. When they pulled away, laughing, I gasped for air and said, "gosh, ummm thanks Jared, I think you put my spine back in to place" he laughed and said "my pleasure" and Jensen laughed and said, "pretty good huh, you get a photo and an adjustment!" I was standing in the middle of the Js looking up from one to the other as the teased me! GO THE SQUISHY HUG!

OK, was it just me, or was Jensen hot enough to fry an egg! I didn't think the outfit would get to me. I mean,it's just old time clothes. No other actor has done anything for me in those types of clothes. But, he isn't any other actor. Plus, he looked thrilled to be doing the LARPing ( and not just as Dean). Maybe it was how happy he seemed that made him look so.....EDIBLE. Sorry, but no other way to describe how sexy, handsome, strong,etc. that he looked in this episode. It may just creep into a few of my dreams I am not ashamed to say!

I think Jensen is breathtakingly perfect since ever. The most handsome human being I've ever seen (unfortunatelyn ot in person, I was drooling just reading people talking about his glowing and all. I truly believe I'll be the one to die from all the pretty when I finally meet him).
I started watching Supernatural because of Jared. I was such a big fan of his Dean on Gilmore Girls and always thought he was cute. But MAN he gets better every day! He is so gorgeous now with the long hair and the boyish look on a man's face I think both Js have reached god-like beauty. Is it something they put in their cereal in the morning?
Thanks for the part 2! I love to duscuss the arc and the dynamics of the show, but the very fact that they are both so beautiful is a force of nature.

Not sure if this should be posted under the objectification thread but seems like it might fit here.

I saw the new section referred to as Whiskey and Salt Rounds and that got me thinking about how you could have a Supernatural cocktail (there probably are some but I am not going to let that interfere with my plan).

So I asked a friend whether you can make a cocktail with salt and either Johnny Walker Blue or really cheap American whiskey (those being the two we see on the show) and I was told that neither one would work (something to do with caramel notes, (and it being a sin against JWB) I dunno) and that it is an unusual combo.

But scotch might work apparently. So since Crowley drinks scotch that's close enough.

This is the recipe my friend came up with. Don't know how it would taste but he makes really good cocktails so it might be worth the risk.

I have decided to christen it the Winchester's Revenge (In celebration of Weekend at Bobby's)

2oz Scotch
1 oz grapefruit juice
1/2 to 1 oz honey syrup
1 dash saturated salt solution.

Shake it up with loads of ice, strain.

Ha! I've seen this one before and did a double take. (ok maybe I studied it for a while just for research purposes). Some of this manip's are amazing. Seriously there a few I can only tell there manip's because I recognize the picture or scene they're really from or because they are in such an unlikely pose, like this one.

Although I seen Rolling Stone photo shoots for TV shows and movies that are pretty similar. But as much as I love SPN, I doubt it's popular enough to rate a one with RS or similar magazine and usually ET and TV Guides photo shoots are much tamer. Damn them.

Yes. They put a message all about it on their front page. They are having server issues and had to downgrade their servers. They are exceeding their maximum number of connections allowed and have turned off the galleries for a while.

I can get a photo gallery of this ep loaded later today. I have the ability to capture a lot of these shots. I won't have the 1100 they have, but I can get many. That should help!

Not sure if you all know this, but this pic is from an awesome video on you tube that is filled with still photos from Jared's trip to Argentina with his sister in 2009. It's fabulous for some reason that I can't quite put my finger on; I mean, it's just a bunch of stills, but I love it soooo much. OK, so I have a request . . .

From Season One on, Jensen has taught me that a gray henley shirt clinging to his arms and shoulders is a true thing of beauty. Watching "Sex & Violence"(oops! I should have said "Yellow Fever") on TNT this week and seeing Dean leaning against the Impala at the end in that glorious gray henley reminded me of how long it has been since we were treated to this view. And then - whammo! "Trial & Error" opens up with Dean in that edible gray henley once again.

So now for my request . . . I can't find any photos of Jensen in the gray henley. If you can (especially from last night's epi) would you please post them here for me?

I might be mistaken, but I think a henly shirt is one with a few buttons at the top. He wears one occasionally and I love them on him. It is long sleeved. They are a little different than a T-shirt. The first time I saw it was in the haunted house episode when Sam jumps in the pool to rescue the little girl. That was the first time I noticed Dean's bow legs. So cute.

Actually, that photo is not really new.
I do think Jared has lost a lot of weight this year, lala2. I think the flu and injuries (and probably family/baby play time) have interfered with his work out schedule.

I'm really curious as to whether or not the people who are disgusted by Dean's obsession over Busty Asian Beauties visit this thread once in a while to gaze at the pretty pictures?

In the 8.17 Goodbye Stranger Let's Speculate thread, I read some comments by people who feel that the show is pushing its boundaries in objectifying women...And if you're one of them and you're reading this, I need to ask - where should the line be drawn, in your opinion? Is it the nudity factor that bothers you, or the ethics of the porn industry, etc?

I also feel that I should point out that I'm not trying to pick a fight, I just think it would be nice to understand your point of view more since I mostly find those moments in the show funny, and I never thought any more about it until I read those comments.

I can't stop looking at his eye crinkles either! They are beautiful! And those eyelashes - OMC! All I can say or think when I look at him is how beautiful he is. That's the only word for it. And he definitely DOES get better with age.

It is the frowning I worry about. I love him dearly (as my name says). With that love comes some (a little) worry.

Hi ST50 (or, probably, administrator) there is no visible link in Firefox to click on

. In Chrome it makes a link that you have to right click and open that way and in IE the link is broken.
Is there a problem with ST's link or is it a glitch? Or is it my computer (it is acting up so it could well be that)?
