J-Day and Jensen’s Q&A….The Happiest Day Of Them All. (photos by sweetondean) So Sunday arrived. It’d had been an awesome convention so far. I’d run into loads of people I’d met before, had a few nights out with fellow fans and generally had a blast. I’d seen Steve Carlson for the first time and enjoyed…
The next event was The Supernatural Trivia Competition. Since I knew I would fail miserably in this and desperately needed to stretch my legs. I decided to skip this and go check out what the vender’s had to sell. I ended up buying a T-Shirt and a coffee mug and two pictures. One of the…
After a little delay in which the natives started getting a bit restless (and cheering loudly to @mainegirlwrites holding up her “Jared For President” sign), we saw the shadows of our two guests of honor and bodyguard Clif work their way backstage. Finally, Adam Malin our host announced Misha Collins. He came out, basking in…
Do you know the story of “Brigadoon”? It is one of my favorite movies of all time. It’s a love story that takes place in a mysterious Scottish village that only materializes one day every hundred years. It’s a magical place, sheltered from the realities of the outside world. The villagers are very close to…
After having to settle for a poster from the vendor’s room at last year’s Van Con, I decided to take matters into my own hands. The poster itself was cool, don’t get me wrong—but it just didn’t seem to represent me as a fan. I wanted something a bit more significant. And so, if I…
Editor’s Note: Supernatural conventions are very special weekend events when fans can meet and mingle with each other and the cast of Supernatural. Chrisha and Kim attended their first Supernatural convention in June. They are very excited to share their experience with all of you. Start at Part 1 of the report, then continue here….
Thanks Alice! I have day one and day two posted now.
Great report Tigershire, to think you thought it would be nothing but a mumble…nary a mumble or drooly bit in sight. Sounds like a great first day, lots of fun and I’m glad there’s a new Q&A format…I only ever catch glimpses here and there on the web or via reports but the incessant inanity of some of the questions never ceases to amaze. Good for someone to take a stand on that. I also think it’s fair there’s no recording, I mean, it’s great to view some of the vids but truth is people pay a lot of money to go and then some of us get to watch stuff free…’tis fair.
I’ll be looking forward to your next series of posts.
Thanks for doing this.
Thanks Elle2. I credit my ability to recall and transcribe with the fact that I seemed to have gotten my head around the whole event and my nerves went away. I still wasn’t brave enough to say, get up to the mike to ask a question, but meeting them all no longer held any fear or nerves. It was AWESOME and enabled me to recall events enough to recount them.
Day 2 is up and I’m hoping to do Day 3 tonight but it’s late and I have a bit of paperwork to do. So could be there….but definitely tomorrow for sure.
Okey dokey – I think I have finished. I completed Day 3 – Part 2 at 2 am and posted it.
Folks are more than welcome to leave comments on my blog as well, or ask me questions and I will compile them into a post to answer them.
But really, I’m just please folks want to read what I have to say and I want to say another HUGE Thank You to Alice for posting my link here, I have gotten a ton of traffic to my site because of it.
Thank you so much Tigershire. Loved reading your experiences at the con.
Love the boys and all the wonderful characters on the show. It must be a happy workplace on the Supernatural set. They’re all so cool!
