"Nobody is a villain in their own story. We're all the heroes of our own stories.” George R. R. Martin

I know how happy last fan video was that I chose so this time let's have some more spunk. Since I was a child I have been drawn to good villains, male and female and I guess you could call it a fetish. I might even have had a teenage crush to some of them. You know the saying "Why Do Girls Like Bad Boys?" Well, I still don't know the answer to that. Maybe it is the danger but I do know I would not date a bad guy. I mean there are bad boys but there are also bad BAD boys and those are the main villains, the recurring nemesis to the main hero. I mean those that I thought were "hot" so to speak were the most dangerous guys out there and their moral ground is quite questionable. Most of all, they were not real.

Men villains low

I mean from movies, TV series, comics and games I remember many that caught my interest; Murdoc in MacGyver (How old was I?) Sephiroth in Final Fantasy 7, Ares in Xena The Warrior Princess, Lan Di in Shenmue, Nottingham in Witchblade, Johnny Lawrence in Karate Kid, The Mummy in the Mummy (New version) Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat, every evil character Sean Bean has acted for example Alec Trevelyan in 007 GoldenEye. As you know, Supernatural has had those villains too that have charisma and looks. Cain was one and Michael too. First Ruby  and Amara too had their own flair of spice. But a good villain is a good villain even if you cook them in butter.

DCCON 2017 Winning Video - Enter Sandman by: Ashley Derosier

Enter Sandman by Metallica

Say your prayers, little one

Don't forget, my son

To include everyone

I tuck you in, warm within

Keep you free from sin

Till the Sandman he comes

Sleep with one eye open

Gripping your pillow tight

Exit light

Enter night

Take my hand

We're off to Never—, Neverland

Something's wrong, shut the light

Heavy thoughts tonight

And they aren't of Snow White

Dreams of war, dreams of liars

Dreams of dragon's fire

And of things that will bite

Sleep with one eye open

Gripping your pillow tight

Exit light

Enter night

Take my hand

We're off to Never—, Neverland

Now I lay me down to sleep

Pray the Lord my soul to keep

If I die before I wake

Pray the Lord my soul to take

Hush little baby, don't say a word

And never mind that noise you heard

It's just the beasts under your bed

In your closet, in your head

Exit light

Enter night

Grain of sand

Exit light

Enter night

Take my hand

We're off to Never—, Neverland

We're off to Never—, Neverland

Take my hand

We're off to Never—, Neverland

Take my hand

We're off to Never—, Neverland

We're off to Never—, Neverland

We're off to Never—, Neverland

We're off to Never—, Neverland

Metallica is an American heavy metal band. The band was formed in 1981 in Los Angeles, California by drummer Lars Ulrich and vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield, and has been based in San Francisco, California for most of its career. The group's fast tempos, instrumentals and aggressive musicianship made them one of the founding "big four" bands of thrash metal, alongside Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer. Metallica's current lineup comprises founding members Hetfield and Ulrich, longtime lead guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo. Guitarist Dave Mustaine (who went on to form Megadeth) and bassists Ron McGovney, Cliff Burton and Jason Newsted are former members of the band.

Metallica earned a growing fan base in the underground music community and won critical acclaim with its first five albums. The band's third album, Master of Puppets (1986), was described as one of the heaviest and most influential thrash metal albums; its eponymous fifth album, Metallica (1991), the band's first to root predominantly in heavy metal, appealed to a more mainstream audience, achieving substantial commercial success and selling over 16 million copies in the United States to date, making it the best-selling album of the SoundScan era. After experimenting with different genres and directions in subsequent releases, the band returned to its thrash metal roots with the release of its ninth album, Death Magnetic (2008), which drew similar praise to that of the band's earlier albums.

In 2000, Metallica led the case against the peer-to-peer file sharing service Napster, in which the band and several other artists filed lawsuits against the service for sharing their copyright-protected material without consent; after reaching a settlement, Napster became a pay-to-use service in 2003. Metallica was the subject of the acclaimed 2004 documentary film Some Kind of Monster, which documented the troubled production of the band's eighth album, St. Anger (2003), and the internal struggles within the band at the time. In 2009, Metallica was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band wrote the screenplay for and starred in the 2013 IMAX concert film Metallica: Through the Never, in which the band performed live against a fictional thriller storyline.

Metallica has released ten studio albums, four live albums, a cover album, five extended plays, 37 singles and 39 music videos. The band has won nine Grammy Awards from 23 nominations, and its last six studio albums (beginning with Metallica) have consecutively debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Metallica ranks as one of the most commercially successful bands of all time, having sold over 125 million albums worldwide as of 2018. Metallica has been listed as one of the greatest artists of all time by magazines such as Rolling Stone, which ranked them at no. 61 on its 100 Greatest Artists of All Time list. As of 2017, Metallica is the third best-selling music artist since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991, selling a total of 58 million albums in the United States.

Castiel: Jack would rather kill you than hug you. Seems relevant. Do you know he doesn't -- he doesn't even really look like you. And he reminds me so much of his mother.

Rowena: Before he crushed my skull, Lucifer showed me his face. His true face. I'm scared, Sam. All the time.

Sam: I've seen it, too, what he really looks like behind -- behind whatever vessel. It... Yeah, still keeps me up at night.

Rowena: How do you deal with it?

Sam: I guess I don't deal with it. Not really. I mean, I... I pushed it down and, um... the -- the world kept almost ending, so I-I keep pushing it down, and... I don't know. I... I don't really talk about it, not even with Dean. I mean, I-I-I could. You know, he'd -- he'd listen, but... That's not something I really know how to share.

Sam: I know what Rowena is dealing with. And she's not the only one who... feels helpless.

Dean: What do you mean?

Sam: I mean, I had a plan, you know. I, uh... Help Jack, um, bring Mom back. It wasn't much, but it was something. It -- it kept me from spinning off the rails. A-and now... Jack is gone, Mom is still in Hell, basically, a-and I-I-I just...

Dean: We'll figure it out.

Sam: Dean, we don't have a plan. We don't know what to do. So -- so... how?

Dean: I don't know. But we will, you and me.

Trivia and Minutiae

Rowena: Sláinte

Sláinte is a Gaelic word that translates to "health", it is commonly used in Irish and Scottish drinking toasts.

Rowena: Tell me... did they get to fifth base?

Dean: There's no such thing as fifth base.

Rowena: Oh, you poor, sheltered boy.

Fifth base is butt stuff.

Rowena: I just need a minute. I'm not fleeing. Don't release the hounds.

"Release the hounds" is one of the catchphrases of Mr. Burns on The Simpsons.
