"Archangels are fierce. They're absolute. They're Heaven's most terrifying weapon.” ― Castiel
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. - 1 Thessalonians 4:16
No, I am not super religious even if the quotes that I have used might suggest otherwise. There is a reason though why I have used them. Maybe because they have their own unique rhythm like music has and they do sort of sound cool and epic. Also I chose for my topic this time two archangels and one specifically because he was long time coming. I am talking about Michael. Also, for now it seems we can bid our farewells to Lucifer so I decided to introduce what real life information we have about both archangels. Also I collected all bible verses that mention or talk about Michael. I really would have wanted it to be our Michael because he was "chilling". I guess I can be happy that it was not the "loco" version.
For the finale, I have two videos. First is a tribute to Lucifer. The second focuses on the finale and archangel Michael. Both videos are from AngelDove!
BONUS question!
I have heard a lot of talk about how people would have wanted the ultimate fight to go. So, give your own version of how you would have liked the fight and ending for season 13 to have gone down below in the comments . And remember, this is all in good fun!

Lucifer
Later Christian tradition came to use the Latin word for "morning star", Lucifer, as a proper name for the devil; as he was before his fall. Lucifer was once the most beautiful angel in all of existence. God loved him best of all his brothers, even more than Michael. Lucifer was proud. When humanity was created, he was unwilling to accept its place in God's favor. And when God commanded all of Heaven to love his new children more than himself, Lucifer refused. Lucifer pleaded: "Father, I can't. These humans are flawed. Murderous!" After persistent disobedience, Lucifer was cast out of Heaven.
Lucifer: Why would I want to destroy this stunning thing? Beautiful in a trillion different ways. The last perfect handiwork of God. Ever hear the story of how I fell from grace? [...] You know why God cast me down? Because I loved him more than anything. And then God created... you. The little hairless apes. And then he asked all of us to bow down before you: to love you more than him. And I said; "Father, I can't." I said, "These human beings are flawed. Murderous." And for that, God had Michael cast me into Hell. Now tell me: does the punishment fit the crime? Especially when I was right. Look what six billion of you have done to this thing. And how many of you blamed me for it?
- 5.04 The End
Lucifer: The Horsemen's rings? The magic keys to my Cage? Ring a bell? Come on, Sam. I've never lied to you. You could at least pay me the same respect. It's okay. I'm not mad. A wrestling match inside your noggin... I like the idea. Just you and me, one round, no tricks. You win, you jump in the hole. I win... Well, then I win. What do you say, Sam? A fiddle of gold against your soul says I'm better than you.
- 5.22 Swan Song

Michael ("who is like God?")
Michael sees himself as a good and loyal son to his father, and that matters most to him. He professes love for Lucifer, his younger brother, but insists that he is only serving his father by destroying his brother. He seems to think himself magnanimous when he promises to leave Dean whole, not catatonic, after serving as a vessel.
Michael: Lucifer defied our father, and he betrayed me, but still, I don't want this any more than you would want to kill Sam. You know, my brother... I practically raised him. I took care of him in a way most people could never understand, and I still love him. But I am going to kill him, because it is right, and I have to.
Dean: What, because God says so?
Michael: Yes. From the beginning, he knew this was how it was going to end.
Dean: And you're just going to do whatever God says?
Michael: Yes, because I am a good son.
Dean: What, because God says so?
Michael: Yes. From the beginning, he knew this was how it was going to end.
Dean: And you're just going to do whatever God says?
Michael: Yes, because I am a good son.

Verses about Michael
Then he said to me, "Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words. "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.- Daniel 10:12-13
"However, I will tell you what is inscribed in the writing of truth Yet there is no one who stands firmly with me against these forces except Michael your prince.- Daniel 10:21
"Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.Daniel 12:1
And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon The dragon and his angels waged war,Revelation 12:7
But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"Jude 1:9

Quotes
Mary: So what are you gonna do now?
Bobby: Honestly, I got no clue. Everyone seems to be settling in okay in town. Ketch is out doing Ketch things. Rowena and Charlie are road tripping it through the Southwest.
Mary: That's trouble.
Bobby: Ginger trouble -- the worst kind. Anyways without an archangel, it's not like we can go back home. And I'm not sure I'd want to. I-I like it here.
Castiel: How do we stop him?
Michael: You don't. After consuming the Nephilim's grace, Lucifer's juiced up. He's super-charged. He'll kill the boy, your brother. Hell, he could end the whole universe if he put his mind to it. And you thought I was bad.
Dean: No. No you beat him. I saw you.
Lucifer: When he was weaker, and I was stronger. Believe me, I'd love to rip my brother apart. But now in this banged up meatsuit not happening. This is the end, of everything.
Dean: No. What if -- what if you had your sword?
Lucifer: Wow. Daddy Sammy coming to the rescue. But your little Jackie, the nougat-loving boy that you had before, he's killed people. He's got lots of blood on his hands.
Sam: I don't care. He's family.
Lucifer: Ha! What's family done for anybody? My Dad left me, my brothers have tried to kill me. A lot. I'm gonna prove it to you.
Sam: Michael.
Michael: Thanks for the suit.

Trivia and Minutiae
"Let the Good Times Roll" may be a reference to the jump blues song same name, or to the chorus to the 1978 single "Good Times Roll" by The Cars.
Jack: What do we do?
Lucifer: Leave. I mean there's a whole universe out there, buddy. Planets. Stars. Galaxies. Why should we stay here on Earth when we can go anywhere else? Heck, everywhere else.
Jack: Like, um, like Star Wars?
Lucifer: Exactly like Star Wars. You want a lightsaber? I can make you a lightsaber. Heck, I can make you a Wookiee.
The lightsaber is the weapon of the Jedi knights in the Star Wars universe. Wookies are a species of giant hairy humanoids from the planet Kashyyyk. The most famous Wookiee is the smuggler-turned-resistance-fighter Chewbacca. Jack previously showed an affinity for Star Wars in 13.04 "The Big Empty".
The episode ending on the freeze frame of Dean/Michael's glowing angelic eyes is a reference to the end of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" music video.
Lucifer: Yeah, uh, Jack, about this, uh, resurrection stuff, it's not always a great idea because, uh, you know people come back... different.
Jack: Well, Sam didn't.
Lucifer: Right, well Sam's always been different. Some would say 'special.' No offense.
In 2.22 "All Hell Breaks Loose: Part Two" Azazel questions Dean if the newly-resurrected Sam was 100% Sam. In the episode and subsequent season 3, Sam occasionally exhibits a more brutal mentality when it came to hunting. This possible plot line was seemingly dropped due to the season 3 writer's strike shortening the season.
Dean: I am your sword. Your perfect vessel. With me you'd be stronger than you've ever been.
According to Zachariah, Dean is the "Sword of Michael," meaning that Dean is Michael's true vessel. When Lucifer is first released from the Cage, Michael pursues Dean to be his vessel so that he can defeat Lucifer. Dean agrees to be Michael's vessel in 5.18 "Point of No Return"; as Michael begins to appear, Dean reneges and kills Zachariah. He tells Sam that he changed his mind because he didn't want to let him down. Their half-brother Adam Milligan is taken as the vessel instead, and ends up being dragged into the cage by Sam when he is possessed by Lucifer.
