The actor, who once played Gordon Walker, won an Emmy last night for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama.
Sterling won for his role in This Is Us, the breakout series from last season. This was not his first Emmy win, last year he won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his role as Christopher Darden in The People vs. O.J.
