Season Two
While waiting for season seven to begin (why is it not here yet???), let’s fondly look back at the genius that is season two.
Okay all you Bob Seger fans (and those who aren’t), what happens when you mix a poignant classic like “Famous Final Scene” with Julie’s homage to all the Supernatural season finales gone by? This of course. Share on Facebook Tweet Follow us Save
“I’m sorry have you met me?”By WEDNESDAYWelcome to another:Too much time passes and old friends seem like strangers. Not enough time can make strangers stay strangers. With this in mind, it’s time to POP by for a visit with our Contributing Staff here at THE WINCHESTER FAMILY BUSINESS.The WFB Writing Staff was challenged to select eleven questions…
“All Hell Breaks Loose Part 2” –Robin’s Rambles by Robin Vogel Sam is dead, and it’s been a couple of days. In some cabin somewhere, he lies peacefully on a mattress red with his blood, and Dean has been crying and talking to him, unable to accept his failure to protect his brother. Bobby keeps stopping…
Writer’s note. This is a modified review of something I wrote in 2008. I have kept a lot of the same content but I’ve added a little more analysis and elaboration. I was also using a very primitive blogging template at the time that wasn’t really conducive to posting pictures online. That will be…
“I’m Sorry, Have You Met Me?”By WEDNESDAYWelcome to another:There are people we’ve heard of, but never really got to know. (Like Sully was to Dean.) Part One: Seasons Five and Six “Cannot be ill, cannot be good.” – Macbeth, Act I, Scene 3 Villains and heroes share one important trait – they often act to build a better world, to right perceived wrongs, to bring justice to an unjust system. They diverge, many times, in motivation. Heroes tend to act from a…
Wonderful! Season 2 does have a lot of iconic moments in it, and you captured them all wonderfully.
Gotta love a shout out to the Trickster!
Season two rocked!!!!!!! 😀
Intro to a whole bunch people. Most of whom are no longer with us. Some we miss (RIP Ellen, Jo, Andy). Some we cheered when they died (Gordon, Ava, Jake) Intro to the Croatoan sickness, the Trickster, djinns and the list goes on and on.
But Julie, we now know that John made the ‘second’ deal. 🙂
Season two, good times. 😆 😆
Love love the second season. Hard to believe all those we loved are now dead.
Loved sweet Andy. Adored the Trickster, Jo and Ellen. (well, I liked Jo!) Don’t forget poor Madison.
Loved to see Gordon, Ava and Jake bite the dust.
My favourite seasons are 1, 2 & 3.
Thanks Julie.
Thanks Julie for another wonderful slide show. Ah, Season 2 which introduced us to the irrepressible trickster as well as the nefarious Gordon. From watching the hilarity of Dean as a PA to the incredible heartbreak of Sam killing Madison. What a season. 🙂 the actors really stepped up their game and we got to see a lot of Bobby Singer, who was a terrific addition to the show. They certainly packed a lot into this season.
As this will be my final article on the site I would just like to express, to everyone who posted such nice comments here, my heartfelt thanks
Julie
