Season 8 Countdown: My Title Card Mock-up

As everyone knows, "Supernatural" changes their title card every year. So I'm throwing my hat in the ring and making a mock-up of what I'd like this year's title card to look like! We'll find out tomorrow if I'm close or waaaaaaay off!

We open with Purgatory in grayscale, with only the sound of wind whistling through trees.

Then a few pairs of eyes pop up...

...then more and more eyes appear.

The "Supernatural" logo starts popping through the trees, and we still hear nothing but the wind.

The logo gets brighter and brighter...

...until it's fully luminescent.

Then we hear a loud roar in the distance, like it came from a giant monster. The logo disappears and the eyes blink shut at the same time, and we're left with Purgatory in grayscale as the distant roar fades away, leaving only the wind.

What do you guys think? Spooky, right? I'm rooting for something like this! We'll see tomorrow. (TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!)

This is great, but I don't want a Purgatory title card, because Sam is cut out of that story, and therefore, so am I. :(

I think they'll go with that Word of God thing we saw, which to me puts Kevin right up there as a lead in the story and shows just how significant he is. Can't wait for tomorrow night, but I don't like Kevin or his mom's significance. Still hoping this season will be about the Winchesters and not the guest stars or building an ensemble cast.

That is really cool looking. I thought they would do something with stone, for the word of god. But I can't wait to see what the new one looks like, and what song they use for the recap! ;)

I like the idea you have for this, but I have to admit- and maybe it's just my screen- but I find this very hard to see. I love that you made the effort however. I wonder how close the true one will be.

This would be incredibly cool, but it would work better if both Sam and Dean were in purgatory. I can’t wait for the new Supernatural, though! This looks like such a good season already, and I really want it to be better with Carver in charge. I finally just got my coworkers at DISH to start watching the show, too, but they have to finish watching the first 7 seasons first. I’ll be recording every episode, however, with my Hopper so that they can watch it once they are done. I can’t wait for tonight’s episode; I am so excited that it is finally here! Sadly enough, the title card is one thing I always look forward to at the beginning of each season!
